Discovery

Today’s picture shows some of the apples on our Discovery tree; I think this year’s crop from this tree is the biggest I have ever seen. The baby Reeves Muntjac has been out in the garden today eating the windfalls, but never stays still long enough to get a picture. It jumps, often with all four feet off the ground, as little lambs do and then runs about looking for more windfalls.

The GOG ate a roast dinner, sitting down for most of it, at lunch time as we are now eating our main meal in the middle of the day. The tablets which he takes at teatime make him slightly sleepy and so he does not enjoy his dinner in the evening as much.

He is reading your comments, but finds commenting, when you cannot sit down for long, rather arduous; he sends his thanks to you all for looking at his journal and for your continued good wishes.

Until the Grumpy Old Git is feeling better I am updating his journal with words and pictures to produce a record and to inform anyone who is interested in his progress.
