Caister-on-Sea
I was kept occupied with slow exposures using internal filters on my camera on Caister-on-Sea beach. What I was actually looking for were the 'unusual zig-cat shaped groynes' seen in images by Justin Minns' book on East Anglia. Since this book was published in 2019, the groynes seem to have disappeared! I spent a long time walking up and down the beach looking, but there they weren't! I might have 'words'......!!! Some storm or other will have buried them.
Not want to retreat empty-handed, I found a group of interesting rocks and watched the water patterns of the retreating tide around these for quite a while.
Less sand tomorrow - I hope.
