Council Meeting

More politics today as I attending the final council meeting before the summer break. One of our full councilors was sick today so I got to fill in for her and play a more active role. However, being on the main council is not really my thing because most of what we vote on is already decided in other committees and we are confirming, and/or financing their decisions. I get a bit bored at times, and have to tell myself the importance of democracy!
At least it was raining heavily this morning so it felt easier to take myself off to the town hall to sit inside all afternoon!
Once the meeting was over I took a short walk around the nearby part of town. I ended up walking some roads that I've never been down before so a quick photo was taken of these flats (apartments) placed between a park and the South Sound.
There is also a giant lilac bush in the picture, only noticed when I looked at my photo!
Really eagle-eyed blippers, with large screens, may see the summer orienteering (HittaUt) marker on that lamppost, showing what drew me to this area, I got another 6 checkpoints and am now 105th in the local league, having found 51 out of 150 checkpoints. The saga continues...
