River Almond

A lovely sunny start to the day, so we avoided repetition of rubbish weather that can happen. A wee daunder around the park in the sunshine. After coffee and the washing hung out on the line, partner and I are off to see eldest son. As the train heads west, the clouds appear and wetness appears. we have a quick lunch, then we head out to a small fun fair to see what stalls there are as granddaughter is a little young for the rides. We manage to win a small gardening kit, Father and daiughter will be able to do the gardening together. As it is quite cold, we walk to the nearby Almondvale shopping centre for afternoon coffee and cake, as well as a softplay area for the little one to toddle around a bit. Along the way I take a photo of the River Almond. Then it is time to get the train back to Edinburgh. By the time we get home, the clouds have gone and the sun has reappeared. the washing is dry.
