River Brathay

Deb fancied a run in a different area today, and I fancied doing some photos around Elterwater, which worked perfectly.

I reached this spot on the River Brathay, and the sun was behind clouds, and the wind was causing a lot of ripples. Three quarters of an hour waiting to get sun on the tree copse, shade on the fells behind, reasonably calm water (helped by a big stopper) and the clouds forming an interesting shape over the copse (and in the reflection).

Worth the wait though!
