..and yes, tourists galore.  Bet they couldn't believe their luck with the weather!

I'm actually posting this a day late.  When I got home last night it was pretty late, I was exhausted and my eyes were sore from being poked about.  I was in London for an appointment at St Thomas' Hospital so that I could be assessed for cataract surgery.  Well, looks like the first eye will be done on August 11th, the day after my birthday.  So that will be something to look forward too then  ;((

London is always entertaining though, isn't it.  So many folks out and taking selfies, looking fierce on their speedy bikes, eating melting chocolate and frozen yoghurt (I gave both of those a miss) and losing their kids in the crush.  However, as I only had to walk from Waterloo to Tommies, Westminster Bridge was my one detour.  For the rest I was sitting in queues for three separate tests, waiting for the doctor, waiting to be given a ticket at the hospital pharmacy, waiting in a queue to pick up my eyedrops, then at Waterloo waiting for a train to get me home..

Right, that's me for yesterday.  Now I'm going up to the butterfly reserve!
