Too hot for walking

I went out for a walk and met friends. They had the right idea and were off to the lido where stepson number one and grandchildren had already had the good sense to go. Otherwise, it has been a quiet day with coffee on the square the high point. That has meant I have been able to watch the recorded highlights of the football and make good inroads into my book.
