Another opportunity...
...to find a sedge warbler perching out. Yesterday I saw the perfect sedge warbler shot, but didn't have the right camera with me. Today I did take my big camera and H spotted this one perched out on some bramble on Blakeney Marshes. We had heard them singing (if you can call their scratchy song 'singing') in the reed bed all along the path and we were just saying how they like to hide away, and then up it popped. Not the sharpest photo but it was quite a distance away.
We have blue sky now but there was high level cloud and a cooling breeze out on the coast, which made it perfect weather for walking. The extra is the view of Cley Windmill that we were admiring from the bench where we stopped for our coffee.
I've been baking this afternoon. We have our annual summer social at the camera club tomorrow evening and we all take along goodies to eat. I'm taking the cheese board and I've also baked some pistachio & Parmesan Sable biscuits to take as well.
