The Ferry

On our last morning in Ullapool we packed up and loaded the car then parked nearer the harbour so we could have a last walk round. Not such good weather, with squally showers. We like to have a look at the market which pops up each Saturday beside the Seaforth restaurant.

As we had left our accommodation we had noticed that the ferry Isle of Lewis was approaching through the summer isles, so when we were down at the harbour we made sure to go along and watch it turn into the bay formed by Ullapool and come into its berth.

As I stood watching the ferry approach I couldn't help wish I could be on board as it left to head back across the Minch for Stornoway :-)
