Bright and early

It's that time of year again...

I started the departmental main spreadsheet for next academic year today... I've not frightened anyone beyond my room and the person who does part one of the work (I'm told it's underway which is why I got my spreadsheet underway) with this information but it does mean there's plenty to keep me occupied if the need arises.

Then the copies of the 2026 lectionary arrived. One for me and one for my main newsletter proofreader. We're not going to lose them easily... I can't ever recall such a shade of green before. So, my two main working documents for the next church year can be prepared in peace one rainy day in the summer break from main work place. From these I can do a lot of copy, cut and pasting for newsletters, rotas, printing out readings in a decent font size... for those prepared to read in our place, the reading improved out of all recognition when I undertook to print out all readings.
