Hill Top Ramblings

Tibetan cowslip

Primula florindae, the giant cowslip! I chose some seeds from the RHS seed scheme and these have done well after a slow start with the dry spring weather. Apparently it’s fragrant, but with the rain today I couldn’t smell them. And they may grow to 1-1.5 metres! In which case I will have to move them to a better location, not in my rose bed! At present they are around 50 cm, considerably larger than our British ones.
