A long journey up the country but it went smoothly and we were home by 3. All well here, our neighbours minded the hens and the greenhouse. Various plants have grown, particularly noticeable is the patch of Melancholy Thistle in front of the beehives. This was planted a couple of years ago, and has taken off! It’s great for bumblebees.
The bees all seem to be present and busy, I will try to check the hives this week and see if there’s any more honey!
