Impact

A half day today.

It was overcast in the morning.

A half-year catch up with one of the team first thing in Neath. He still has a bit to learn on seeing things from the other perspective.

Headed to Cardiff then and caught up with one of my old colleagues. He is old now, 81 years old but I still keep in touch. He was out in his garden with staffie dog. By the time I got to Cardiff it was sweltering.

I then headed to the city centre and the charity event that I was attending. First things first though I headed to my book dealer to feed my addiction. They are shameless. Lol!

I then headed to the Temple of Peace in Cardiff, they were filming what looked like a Victorian period drama outside. I didn't recognise any famous faces.

The charity event was good and it was interesting to hear the impact that they have. I hadn't considered the long-term impact, but one video they showed was very emotional.

I've bought comedy sunglasses for my trip to London tomorrow for a laugh with my young padawan.

Today I am thankful for:

2.  A good catch up with one of my team
3.  A good charity event
4.  Stunning weather
