Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

A very slow start this morning, then a wander round to the Links to meet John and Amanda to deliver Archie to them for their weekly walk. He spotted them quickly today and ran off in the right direction to meet them.

I came home and did a couple of admin phone calls. Then I had another go at the television, which has refused to work properly since we came home. Which is strange. I've re-booted the router, unplugged and re-plugged the media box many many times. I can't get television through my provider VM, but I can get it through the Samsung tv. But that involves a LOT of fiddling about and I can't see what's on. But I did watch tennis this afternoon. I rang the VM helpline, but it was just an automated voice telling me to unplug... blah blah... and sent me a link to the 'help desk', which I was on...

JR did a lot of chores this morning after gym, including putting a nice chicken curry in the slow cooker, then went into town to go to the gallery, but happened in to Uniqlo too...

John and Amanda came home eventually (16,000 steps) and while Archie snored at our feet, we told them about our super visit to London. And how nice it is to NOT be in crowds. They met a wee schnauzer, Boo, who was 13. Archie was, apparently, quite taken with her... Amanda just missed them kissing in this shot…
