Biggles
We have a couple of friends over for lunch today - despite living in the same town I don’t think we’ve actually managed to get together since pre-lockdown! That’s partly due to the fact that three of us all have health issues - G being the exception - and typically much of the conversation over the tapas style lunch I’ve prepared centres around our medical woes! Still, it’s lovely to be able to sit out in the garden - though we definitely need the shade of the parasol!
And there’s good news on the medical front! I have a phone call from Dermatology in Liverpool bringing my appointment forward to early July. Either my letter, or my consultant’s email- or both - has clearly had an impact! Now I just need to hear from gynae-urology and I’ll be happy - well at least getting there!
After ‘entertaining’, I only have the energy for garden photography. I realise I’ve yet to use my macro lens this year, so I spend some time quietly focusing on pollinators. I love this drone fly with his flying goggle eyes, tip-toeing through the astrantia, so that’s my main today! (Better large, and with a closer view in extras.)
