Cleaning the dykes

As the dykes are so important for drainage, it is important they are kept weed free so their maintenance is a constant task. We arrived in Essex to see David and spent a pleasant afternoon catching up. The journey down was uneventful but hot. At the moment it is 30°. Tonight we will ring at the local tower and meet his new girlfriend who is also a ringer. We will set off early in the morning and hope to be in Orleans by late afternoon.
