ICAD 19

Time just keeps marching along... here is #19 out of 61 days of the Index Card a Day challenge! This is an image transfer I did using a photo I took of my husband sailing a wooden strip canoe. I took the photo, printed it on paper and used artists gel medium to transfer it to a different piece of paper. It changes the original photo and it also reverses it. You can see the original photo in a blip I did in 2011, when Steve finished modifying and adding sails to the canoe! 

Steve finished the gunwales, added a centerboard case and centerboard (all made by hand). He also made a rudder, 2 masts out of bamboo he cut down(!!) and he made sails... out of Tyvek! Lovely memories....
