Index Card #18

:0) A special ICAD (index card a day) for a special friend, Frieda.... friedaquilter here on Blipfoto. She started blipping at the end of 2010 and told me about it, in an email. I joined her soon afterwards. Having blip in common as well as mixed media art cemented our friendship. We exchanged Artist Trading Cards, round robin books, other art and lots of snail mail! Later, she helped me learn how to make a quilt, following one of her designs in a 100 day project - see here. 

I greatly admire her art, her photography, her quilting (she has won many awards) and I'm so happy we are friends. She has supported me through life's ups & downs. Oh yes! I flew to Scotland in 2014 to visit her. My blips of our week together start here.
