Swallow, hare and heron

A good day for nature photos - two from the hotel where we're staying (swallow and hare), and one from the riverside in Sligo (the heron).
The temperatures have been up near 30 degrees here, today and yesterday, especially in the afternoon. So I was keen to get out early this morning, while it still felt fresh and cool.
There were two hares exploring the field edge near the hotel drive; neither one noticed me at first. The swallows and martins were busy feeding their young, and after many failed attempts, I caught one in flight that was more than a dot in the far distance. The heron was a far easier proposition, standing stock still as it was, scanning the river.
Tomorrow we hope to go to Derry, where I'm due to photograph murals for ArtUK
However, there was some sectarian violence there earlier this week.  We checked with the tourist office this morning, on the phone; they feel confident that it's OK to go ahead, and they are running all their own usual tours and visits. We'll check again tomorrow morning.
