The boys (Day 3697)

I decided to lurk in bed a while longer after my beautiful wife got up at stupid o'clock to catch the ferry south. When I did get up just after 6 and headed out with Sigyn it was surprisingly warm.
A bit later I headed to town to collect some stuff, then back across the county to plumb in a dishwasher in Stenness. When I pulled the old machine out I found it had been wired direct to the mains with it's cable spliced together and taped up. I declined to do any further work until the power supply could be safely isolated.
Next on the list a trip to Orphir to service a boiler, a nice quick easy job because the customer looks after their boiler so well. From there I headed home via Stenness to change a basin waste.
I had a quick turnaround at home and headed off to Lyde with Sigyn. We arrived there at the same time as thick haar and drizzle which thankfully burnt off as we turned back to the truck.
After a late lunch I headed for the horses and enjoyed time in the field in fabulous sunshine.
