Groundhog Day

TUESDAY

Last Tuesday, I had a morning bowls match away in Abergele for the 'A' team, followed by an afternoon home match at Rhuddlan for the 'B' team.

Today was the other way round — I played at Abergele in the morning for the 'B' team, then at home in the afternoon for the 'A' team.

We won the morning match 7–5 (I won my own game 21–7), but the team lost the afternoon match 8–4. (I just scraped home with a 21–20 win in my own game).

Hot and sunny all day, and the greens were running well which suited my style of bowling.
