Emma Bridgewater

Today’s meeting got cancelled leaving me with a day to entertain myself in Stoke-on-Trent. Went on a fabulous tour of the Emma Bridgewater factory which covered every step from lumps of clay to final product. The shop was very tempting but I’m travelling by train!
I then went to the potteries museum and Dudson museum before taking a walk by the canal. Finished the afternoon in the Spode museum where I did succumb to shopping but limited myself to a small ceramic broch which is easy to carry home.
