Saturday

I had planned to do Hanley parkrun this morning but it was suspiciously quiet when I arrived at the park. Unfortunately it had been cancelled due to the park being used for Pride. I didn’t have time to get to a different one so just walked back to my weird flat and checked out. Spent a while browsing an air conditioned charity shop mostly to get out of the heat but also found some interesting commemorative mugs which I’ll save for emergency blipping!
After a walk along the canal and a piece of cake in Emma Bridgewater’s cafe I’m on the train home.
