Wall Walking

Not us. But there were plenty of others our walking and cycling.

Tom attended a demonstration at The Council offices. The Councillors were voting whether or not to grant planning permission for a gasification plant in Rockcliffe. They won, it’s not going to be built. The planned plant would have been too near the village. Plus the company safety record is poor.

We went to Bowness-on-Solway. The tide was going out and we walked along the beach towards the old railway bridge buttress. The bridge used to cross the Solway.

We picked up a bit of shopping on the way home . I helped mum with some admin.

It’s been another hot one, hotter than yesterday. The poor cats haven’t known what to do with themselves.
