Summer Solstice Swim..

…. Only three and a half hours late.
It was incredibly balmy. I’d stuck some washing on the line before setting off at 7am.
Bassenthwaite was choppy. We both decided to wear wetsuits instead of skins. However, the water was gorgeous and not at all cold. The current was strong so we swam along the shore chatting and laughing all the way.
We enjoyed a drink some fruit and a Madeleine biscuit after.

I’ve declutterred three drawers this afternoon and washed two winter duvets, they were dry in no time.

Another hot one, but it’s cooled off this evening with thunderstorms.

Will did the Gelt Gladiator, a 10k plus mud course as part of a team.

Toms been building a compost heap at the allotment.
