Gerbera Daisy

We had another glorious day, weather wise. After breakfast on the porch, I hunted for a blip. I have photographed these Gerbera daisies three times this week but found something I liked better. Having the new bud was what the photo needed. I worked on the garden surrounding our well head. I thinned the volunteer spider plants and put some in pots and in my formal garden beds. It would be great to have them reseed in some of those raised beds to add color. My sister gave me some ice plant plugs. They went in the formal garden also. There is a ton of sprouted bird seed and maple tree weeds in the front garden. Jamie’s family gave me a comfy garden bench for my birthday. Using that, I was able to sit in front of the weeds and eradicate them. It looks much better. We will only use sunflower seeds in those feeders until winter. Hubby was so kind to fill the feeders so I didn’t have to walk out there. I forgot to tell him which seed to use. A squirrel turned over a full container of tiny millet seed while we were gone and I had quite a mess to clean up. Hubby picked up our meds and helped Jamie get some final beverage mixes before Abi’s graduation party tomorrow. I showered off the grime and washed a load of laundry. Hubby trimmed the property and the formal garden. Everything looks manicured at the moment. Hubby brought home BBQ from last night’s event so I won’t have to cook. Looking forward to resting on the recliner. So is hubby. Wishing you glorious weather for your weekend. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “In the garden of life, choose to bloom like a daisy—with grace and joy.” – Unknown
