Oasis of calm...

Bath RUH 

The following is for my records, please don't feel the need to read.

Dad had bad fall at 1.30am, cut head, cracked ribs and buggered up knee (horrendously bruised and swollen to twice its size). While waiting 2hrs 5mins for ambulance, had seizure. Arrived RUH 5am, back on ambulance 7am, bed in A&E 9am, saw doctor 1pm, IV antibiotics. 2.50pm nurse told me to take sanity break for half hour, sat by Lily Pond then bought medicinal chocolate. 4pm knee and chest x-rays, back to A&E. 5.45pm second seizure, red button alarm, staff running from everywhere, scary. 6.45pm medical doctor, increasing seizure meds. 10pm still waiting in a&e for ward bed.

In the last 64 hours have had just 6 hours sleep. Who knows how much longer I'll be here. But I just have to keep going. Thank you for your kind stars and hearts for yesterday's rooftops blip.

UPDATE: Taken to ward at 10.45pm. Left RUH in taxi 11.10pm. Home 11.30pm. Ate cold pizza!
