Getting colder

Every morning it has been a bit colder. Today we measured -7.9° C which is on the cold side for here. I am not getting up very early at the moment but hurrah it is our shortest day so I can look forward to more sun in the future.

Nothing momentous happened today. Lovely call from Daughter C in Sydney. She often rings while she walks home from Pilates. Happy 17th anniversary to the Perthville family.

Bit of house work and the usual assortment of activities. We have been watching Bay of Fires season 2 on the ABC. It is a very a strange comedy/drama with hilarious characters who have all been sent to a remote town in Tasmania for safety (witness protection) or violent crimes. After binging on season 2 we decided to revisit season 1. Not everyone’s cup of tea. While doing that I’m knitting and Re knitting the jumper. With the pattern you can’t go back to pick up from the row before your mistake so I pulled it back to the ribbing to start yet again.

ABC HD has a series of visiting orchestras being showcased at 2.30 I want to go out to get the washing in but don’t want to miss it. Tonight they have another Favourite classic 100 at 7.30. We will record it and watch at a later date.

Extra is showing progress on the hyacinths. If anyone wants to try the hyacinths you often see the vases for sale in opportunity / charity shops.
