A very hot and sultry day with a few spots of rain, but not enough to be useful.
We both needed to renew our library books so we went together. It is always a pleasure to visit our local library which is housed in the old Victorian village school building .
The village was busy at is Village Day. For the first time I was not involved as my WI has now suspended. For fifty years we have had a stall, making our contribution to village life, but not any more. So sad. I always took several photographs for the WI website. But I am not walking very well at the moment so it would have been difficult anyway.
