Busy

I've been photographing the puffin activity at Sumburgh Head for a lot of years - but I really can't remember there being so many puffins around day after day.

At this time of year the cliffs are busy with breeding adults (bringing back sand eels for the youngsters) and non-breeding adults (the teenagers) who just hang around on the cliffs waiting to be photographed. This pair appear to be a breeding pair, they had just emerged from the burrow behind them.
