Boots

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Caro has not had the chance to spend much time with Abi. She's been on call and it's pretty intense. Most evenings after work she falls asleep right after dinner. 

But since I was going to the movies with Mo today (to see "Ballerina") the pair got to go around Waikenae together and check out the shopping opportunities. 

So when Mo and me got back from Wellington Abi stopped us at the door. 

"What do you think of THESE?" she said, pirouetting in boots and lifting her ankle. 

We appreciated the boots. They ARE very cool. 

It seems the pair of them had a great day out. And Abi got TWO JOBS. One in a cafe and another babysitting for a couple who run a sushi place. She was AGLOW. 

Caro also had great fun and it was nice that they finally got to spend some quality time together. 

In the evening we watched "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" together. 

"Why has no-one ever told me about this film???" said Abi. She loved it. 

I love how easily she's become part of the family. I mean. Duh. She IS family. But you know what I mean.
