School Fair

Busy day!

MrsCyclops is away, so Cyclops and CyclopsJnr were hanging out.

We started with a couple of games of chess with the Lewis Chessmen set CyclopsJnr received recently.  Cyclops played with just pawns and King, Bishop, Knight and Rook to give CyclopsJnr (a chess novice) a fighting chance, and it worked as we won one game each.

Next we did some weeding, as CyclopsJnr was keen to earn some extra pocket money and it needed done!

We headed off to the School Fair where CyclopsJnr was pleased to throw wet sponges at teachers, go on bouncy things, "beat the goalie", knock down coconuts, and rampage with classmates.  Someone was selling 3D printed fidgets and this "Christmas Tree" is truly epically satisfying - a good choice.  We had "Super Mario" pizza from "Pizza Geeks" for lunch - pepperoni and mushroom.  Delicious.

Later we pruned a tree, played Crash Team Racing, CyclopsJnr practised his bassoon, and we had Salmon for dinner (our wee treat when MrsCyclops is away, as she doesn't like it) and watched the Mandalorian.

We also fit in a couple of games of Kingdominoes Origins which CyclopsJnr had from his Granny for his birthday.  Great fun!
