Solstice Swim

It might not have been sunrise, but it was early. We were in the water just after 8am. Last week was a busy one at work and I was shattered and I’d said to the girls I probably wouldn’t do much. But….the sun was glorious and the water was 19°. The 1km course was set up so I swam that, then the 500m and finally the 250m. It was so lovely in the water and we all had a great swim. Poor Anne Marie couldn’t join us as she fractured two bones in her foot last week playing padel. This WI lark where we make new friends and try new things can be a dangerous thing!
