Goggle Eyed

I went up to Redbrook this morning with Jenny, Margaret, Suzanne and Louise. The waterboard have drained quite a bit of the reservoir so they can do some repair work on pipes and the infrastructure. The measuring post was virtually free of water….we used to swim to it!

It was not easy to get in as the ground was very squidgy and getting out was even more difficult. As we tried to stand up we would just sink up to our knees. Suzanne, Margaret and I made a human chain to help each other out. It was hilariously ridiculous.

I had to take a quick pic of Suzanne as she’d had her goggles on her forehead. Then it was breakfast in Crumbles.

I met up with Sian this afternoon for a couple of hours of delightful catch up over tea and cake.
