Return

Today we got up at 05:00, and were at the airport by 05:30, thanks to our taxi arriving exactly on time and the streets being quiet. We were joined at the gate by PhD students B and Y, so we got the right flight!

There was enough broken cloud for a few view on take-off, and this shows one of the caldera lakes that we visited yesterday. On the plane I modified my slides a little, for the talk I'll give on Tuesday. Paris was awfully hot, and Y soon regretted deciding to stay overnight before returning to Edinburgh. 

Edinburgh was warm and wet. After collecting our car from FastPark, we gave B a lift home. We were tired when we got in, and after relaxing for a while I went out to get groceries to cook tea. I'll get a bit of work done tonight, because tomorrow we have to finish clearing Mum's flat before I leave in the early evening. We also have to collect Django from daughter K.
