Damselfly

A sunny, productive day with some domestic chores accomplished. W worked on the lawn mower, I did a bit of picking up in the garage and some mundane things, like laundry, in the cooler house. It's heating up outside, heading into quite warm temps starting tomorrow, and was already 90 or so today and humid to boot. 

Visited the recycling center and Starbucks, where W read the paper and I edited a scene. Also said hi to a friend from a past writer's group and his family, whom we see there nearly every Saturday. 

Saw this damselfly alighting on iris leaves and an oak leaved hydrangea (extra). I don't know much about them...maybe it's a slender bluet, judging from an online gallery. It's not a great photo but the insect was interesting (and shy!).

I picked up a work shift tomorrow night so will be adjusting accordingly ahead of time. Happy Sunday!
