Glass more than half empty
A warm day and I spent much of the morning indoors (though the door was open) scrieving away at the latest Glass Eye for the newletter. Having banged it out and sent it to the editor I’ll probably hear no more of it until it gets printed up in a couple of months’ time. And I’ll think, this is a right load of old crock. Or else we’ll all be dead in a nuclear war.
Anyway, I then went off for victuals while the SK got her hair cropped for the upcoming big event. And finally got a seat in the garden awhile with a large G&T. Only for a while as we were off to the Lyceum to see Mountaintop: April 3, 1968. Room 306, the Lorraine Motel, Memphis. It’s Dr Martin Luther King Jnr’s last night on Earth.
And it’s excellent… but I … I dunno what was to blame… I kept zoning out…. I should have had a nap first is probably the learning. A smaller G&T you say? And maybe do without the G&T in the Lyceum you say?
No no, it was a just a nap I needed. And it’s been so very warm.
