Midsummer Morn

Taken while I was out with Basil on the Green Lane at a pretty early time for me at 9 am. I had hope the clouds were indicators of rain. They weren't but they did provide welcome shade from time to time.

The heat was already beginning to build. I had resolved to take Basil out because he hadn't had a run since Tuesday. We both enjoyed the trek. Clover studded the path and every now and then, there were hedgehog holes in the bottom of fences; sadly, most were blocked off. (extras)

Then home to watch Jack Draper just lose in his semi-final at Queens Tennis Club. It was a superb match.
