Welcome home

I have back blipped yesterday.

I quietly left my B&B in Strathpeffer at 0730 and set out south.

It had clearly rained heavily overnight, but I had not heard it!

I’m pleased to say that the A9 was very quiet and the traffic only built up on the Edinburgh bypass. The A68 was quiet too.

I’ve been having trouble with a painful neck when driving. It’s a real nuisance. I think I will book an appointment with the chiropractor as soon as possible.

Joan had left these sweet peas for me, from her garden.

Daisy has been on and off my knee all day. She has come into the house crying and yowling each time. It’s nice to have been missed, but her behaviour is over the top!

I really thought I was doing well until tiredness hit me like a sledgehammer during the afternoon.

It’s lovely to be home!
