Paint It Black

Weather cooler today, but also much wetter. Managed to do our usual walk just before the rain really set in. Decided I really ought to start building one of the guitar projects I have on the go. I need some black string trees for the “black guitar” but jibbed at paying £4+ for new ones.
However, I did have a pair of rusty nickel ones I’d taken off the other project, that weren’t going to be put back on. I also had a wire brush, the end of a can of black paint and “Sounds of the 70s” on the radio. Sorted.
I escaped to the garage and whiled away a very pleasant hour or so cleaning and painting whilst the rain hammered down outside. In between coats I cleaned and checked over the black guitar body I blipped the other day. All looks good and I should be able to attach the neck in the next day or so once the tuners have arrived and been fitted.
