After the rain (Day 3699)

On the way back from town after doing the weekly shop this morning the sky turned black and the heavens opened. I unloaded the truck in monsoon style rain and got soaked in the process.
I managed to get out with Sigyn at Lyde in a dry spell, getting home just as more rain started.
Later, while driving to the horses, the heavens opened again and I arrived at the field in some of the heaviest rain I have seen for a long time. I sat and waited for it to ease off before getting the field chores done. Despite the rain, the boys all seemed happy enough and were delighted to get an apple each.
It has been fairly poor weather for my beautiful wife working outside today.
