The same but different...

Today I fulfilled a long held ambition to attend a cricket match at Worcester's ground at New Road. In county cricket terms this view of the Cathedral across the River Severn is pretty iconic, and to my mind quintessentially English.

I've had a fantastic day, not only because Surrey ended it very much on top in the match, but also because I got the chance to chat with a variety supporters of both counties on a lovely summer's day. On the down side I have over a thousand photos to go through, the vast majority of which will be deleted, and I feel very, very tired - but in a good way :-)
