Back home

As you can see, we had a lovely drive (no delays and a rather relaxing 4 1/2 hours) back from South Yorkshire, having had a most enjoyable time, reminiscing and making new memories too.

For those of you who maybe don’t know this sculpture that Martin blipped from the passanger seat, it’s the Angel of the North. A design by Anthony Gormley, it’s 66 feet high and stands along the A1 near Gateshead. Completed in 1998, it’s become an iconic site in the north east of England.

Now back home and relaxing with a cup of tea with a cat on my lap (no surprise then).

I hope you are enjoying Monday.
