Large Red Damselfly

Male, if I've read the runes right and with a rather odd looking bend at the base of his tail!

Another blip gathered very close to home along the banks of the Nuns' Stream, for no better reason than the morning was calling me but had to get home in time to go to a 9am dentist appointment.  So why didn't I do the dentist then take the camera out?  I really don't know, just habit I guess.

The rest of the day's consisted of picking up prescriptions from the chemist and being moderately lazy.  Not really Monday morning stuff, but after the amount I did yesterday it felt quite acceptable.
