Evening primrose

Quite a slow and uneventful day.

i did some laundry sorting/ironing.

A lad from two houses down visited a few days ago because he's interested in a bit of work during the summer holidays.  Today, he came round and put in 4 hours moving sods up to the composting area, and then bringing woodchip down.  Another area now tidied up.

He'll be back in a couple of days, when W will probably set him the job of digging over and mulching another bit of flower bed.

A wander round the garden this evening found the first evening primrose flower.  Hoping that they will self seed, and become a regular feature.
