I returned the second pair of useless sandals to GoOutdoors and shopped in Sainsbury's for tomorrow's dinner - stewing beef, although it was called something more la-di-da. It was put in the slow cooker with vegetables and red lentils, and as I type it's outside on the back step cooling down as there was no way that was going to happen indoors.

A slightly early dinner at 6.30pm so that I could get up to the allotment by 7.30pm, for the first drink and chat evening. Good to meet more plot holders, and I asked Rob to add me to the WhatsApp Allotment Chitchat group. To be fair he had sent an invitation when I first got my plot.... but obviously I'd ignored it. Sorted now, but I'll probably mute the notifications lol!!!
