Water, falling

An afternoon walk brought us to the water, falling and falling without a break or seam. A ceaseless sheet of ribbons, twisting, tumbling, bending to gravity's call.

I imagined each droplet amazed for a moment when suddenly airborn, crashing tumultuously against the craggy rocks, finally coming to rest in the still green, motionless pools below.

Falling, flying, tumbling water!
