Fancy a dip?

WFH day today.  Wrote a list of 4 things I wanted to get done.  Got them all done.  Added a 5th thing.  Have not done that yet. But it's ok because the 4 original things got done.  Based upon yesterday's conversations I set a lunch hour into my diary in perpetuity... let's see how long it lasts.

I took a later break today to catch up with Msmoss.  Yes - of course we had ice cream (we both ate it, she blipped it!), a walk in the most "close" of weather along the front where it was too hot to keep your coat on but too windy to keep your hat on: chats, shared tears, more chats.

I took this picture before she got there because this place makes us both laugh every time we meet there. It's the view next to the ice cream parlour -  the open "swimming" area at the local front of New Brighton.  Occasionally, beyond all belief you actually see people in there. Yes in the water, with their faces near it and everything.  I had been playing with my camera filters but I promise this isn't anything other than the photo that I took.  This has to be the least inviting body of water in existence.  Please feel free to come and visit, eat ice cream and swim in our pond of, well, browny green water...
