INDIA DAY 5…

…a simpler day.
#We had to leave Udupi at 7:30 for a medical appointment for P’s sister.
#We stopped for breakfast (where she couldn’t eat due to the appointment) and then onto the medical centre. It turns out she needed to eat and the doctor wouldn’t be there for another 2 hours!!!
# So O, P and I got a tuktuk to a nearby shopping centre to look for a Kurta for me and a swimming costume so we can visit the local hotel pool. We weren’t successful so on to another shopping centre. I got a costume and then suddenly we weren’t successful shoe shopping. It was all a bit tricky for me today.
We left the main town for the 30min drive back at 2pm but stopped for lunch at a fantastic place. It was a health club/gym.
#This was our table view. The service was great and the Mediterranean food a nice change.
We got back at 4 and I unintentionally slept for 3 hours!!!!!
Had no idea what else was happening for the day.
Second language and basic communication was a struggle today for me!! But suppose that is to be expected.
