ripening

Every time I think that I have picked the last lot of strawberries, I'm proved wrong - they just keep coming! Despite seeing a wee vole running under the netting (I can spare one or two for him). This year I have tried a new tactic against slugs/rot - I dangle bunches of fruit into black plastic flowerpots. It seems to work!

During the rainy parts of the day, I carried on with some sorting out. Today it was a drawer full of cable spaghetti and electrical stuff. I got my ancient iPod working again and the iPod dock as well (turns out I had the power cable upside down - Internet search says its a common mistake)
